In February Left Lane Productions put together our very first styled shoot. It was a lot of planning, organizing and coordinating, but hey, that’s our specialty so, no big deal =)
Our color inspiration came from Pantone’s Colors of the year Rose Quartz and Serenity. They’re just soooo dreamy! We wanted to keep the feeling very romantic, classic and sophisticated, so we added some gold and creams to the mix. The venue manager at Villa de l’Amour had already been talking to us about doing a shoot at their location, so it seemed like the perfect place to get started. They have a beautiful space in downtown High Point, with indoor and outdoor options, both of which we will be sharing pictures of.
We pulled together a great group of vendors, some from Villa’s preferred list and some that we’ve just been itching to work with. They all helped us bring our vision to life. We asked professional Elizabeth Larson to be our primary photographer. She’s been in the business for around 25 years and her wonderful work has been featured in several magazines. I’ll be mainly sharing her pictures, and will feature them first. Our 2nd shooter, Melissa Cattani, is a newer, up and coming photographer who is just getting started in the wedding industry. I’ll show her work towards the end. Both of them captured our shoot beautifully, in their own unique style. Be sure to check them out, as well as all the awesome vendors that participated. Links to their websites are at the end of this post.
So now I’ll get out of the way and start sharing what you really came to see, these amazing pictures!
In the ceremony room we featured a setup with soft draping fabric, and the classically beautiful flowers by Dahlia’s. We are really loving the simple beauty of these colors.
This lace covered gown by Allure, paired with the cathedral veil is stunning!
How gorgeous is the new Aracella gown by Maggie Sottero?!?!
All those full, rich layers of tulle is enough to make any princess swoon, yet it’s not an over the top ballgown. She still has a very soft earthy feel that’s almost a little bohemian.
The birdcage veil ties in perefectly!
Villa de l’Amour has a fabulous patio area you can use for your ceremony, cocktail hour or reception. The fountain is a favorite detail.
Beautiful, classy cake by TartSweets !
Roaring 20’s Limo has one of the rarest Limousines available.
Well, actually they have 3 of the 5 in the USA.
Here are a few shots from our secondary photographer.
